Description

This Registered Apprenticeship Program trains students in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC Controls through a hybrid model combining 360 hours of Related Technical Instruction (RTI) at Shorter College and Smart Buildings Academy, with 5,000 hours of On-the-Job Training (OJT) at EcoPump HVAC. The program incorporates virtual labs, advanced control systems, EPA/OSHA/EcoPump certifications, and employer-aligned training to prepare students for high-demand careers in HVAC and energy controls.

Refund Policy

The program adheres to the refund policies established by Apprenticely and the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) for registered apprenticeship programs. Refunds are issued in accordance with federal apprenticeship standards and only apply to costs not covered by public funding sources (e.g., WIOA, OSD).
