Description
The Paramedic Science program will build upon existing certificate programs in Basic or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to provide students with a career pathway in the field of Emergency Medical Services. The graduate will be competent in Paramedic Science, meeting competency in the Didactic (knowledge), Psychomotor (skills level), and Affective (behavior) domains. The program requires 43 credit hours of coursework that can be completed over the course of a year, providing students with the opportunity to quickly earn highly sought skills and credentials that can lead to gainful employment in the EMS sector. The program offers students the opportunity to perform clinical rotations with several hospitals, clinics, and emergency medical service providers.
