Description
Certified Surgical Tech program is 320-hour course (200 hours of classroom/lab and 120 hours of externship) students will maintain sterile operative fields, maintain inventory or medical inventory or medical supplies/equipment. They will also assist during surgery, position patients for treatment or examination. Surgical technicians are responsible for preparing and organizing surgical rooms and cleaning equipment. Students will be prepared and eligible to sit for the American Allied Health National Exam to become a Certified Surgical Technician upon completion of the course.
