Description
The Construction Technology Program is designed to prepare students for entry level construction jobs. Students will learn the basics of construction safety, math, and power and hand tools. Students will develop skills in construction welding, concrete finishing, rigging, and light equipment usage. The goal of the program is to help the student acquire skills that can be used to enter the workplace and be a versatile member of a construction team. Pending program approval, the Construction Technology curriculum will include courses in Construction Craft Skills, Oxygen/Acetylene Safety and Orientation, and SMAW Partial Joint Penetration.

During the first two weeks of a fall/spring semester, a student can drop for a 100% refund. After the 11th day census is locked, the student can no longer receive a refund of tuition, fee, or book expenses.
