Technical certificates are available for those students who desire preparation for more immediate entry into the workforce. Computer information systems intertwines technology with managing business and solving operational problems. This program prepares the student to enter the challenging field of computer information systems with knowledge of programming, database management and systems analysis. The program is designed to meet the business community's demand for adequately trained information systems specialists and provide students with a solid background to advance in this rapidly expanding field. Students learn how to develop, design, manage and maintain business technology infrastructure, as well as inform businesses of their specific technology needs.
