Job Description

The Bilingual Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by accurately handling inventory, picking and staging orders, and performing shipping and receiving tasks. This role requires full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish , strong attention to detail, and hands-on experience with forklifts, warehouse management systems, and inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

+ Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.

+ Pick and stage products according to work orders and specific customer requirements.

+ Operate sit-down forklifts safely to move inventory within and between sites.

+ Handle general labor and material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing products.

+ Support shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, packing, and verifying shipments for accuracy.

+ Use RF scanners and scan guns to pick materials and track inventory movements.

+ Execute pallet order picking and ensure orders are completed with a high level of accuracy.

+ Assist with inventory control activities to reduce discrepancies and maintain warehouse inventory integrity.

+ Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems to process orders and update inventory information.

+ Perform product labeling and packaging to meet customer and operational requirements.

+ Move inventory from one site or area to another as needed to support warehouse flow.

+ Work flexibly as a floating associate, supporting different departments and tasks as operational needs change.

+ Maintain a strong focus on order accuracy and inventory accuracy throughout all warehouse activities.

+ Follow established warehouse procedures and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Essential Skills

+ Fully bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

+ Proven experience operating sit-down forklifts.

+ Current forklift certification or ability to obtain and maintain certification.

+ Strong understanding of warehouse operations and workflows.

+ Hands-on experience with pallet order picking.

+ Inventory control and warehouse inventory experience.

+ Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

+ Experience using ERP systems, including HOR or similar platforms.

+ Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including scheduling and packing.

+ Ability to pick orders using RF scanners or scan guns.

+ Demonstrated focus on accuracy and attention to detail in order fulfillment and inventory management.

+ Ability to work flexibly across different departments and functions within the warehouse.

Work Environment

This role is based in a distribution warehouse facility that is not climate controlled; temperatures may vary with the seasons, but industrial fans and heaters help improve comfort throughout the year. Work is performed around forklifts, palletized goods, and standard warehouse equipment, including RF scanners and WMS/ERP terminals. The environment is fast-paced and requires safe movement through active aisles and storage areas, with a practical, safety-focused dress code suitable for material handling and warehouse operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
