New Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center
Clarksville/Russellville, Arkansas Area

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at a new drug and alcohol treatment center serving the Clarksville and Russellville communities. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals working toward recovery in a professional, supportive, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, treatment plans, and applicable regulations.
• Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate medication records.
• Monitor clients’ physical and behavioral health and promptly report significant changes to the appropriate medical provider.
• Obtain and document vital signs, health histories, symptoms, and other clinical information.
• Assist with client admissions, assessments, care coordination, and discharge planning.
• Educate clients about medications, treatment recommendations, wellness, and recovery support.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation.
• Respond appropriately to medical concerns and emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, counselors, and other members of the treatment team.
• Follow all infection-control, safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Support a respectful, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Arkansas LPN license or eligibility to obtain Arkansas licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain certification before employment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to individuals receiving substance-use treatment.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and protect confidential information.
• Previous experience in behavioral health, substance-use treatment, detoxification, mental health, or a related setting is preferred but not required.
