Job Description
Low Voltage Data Technicians
Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring Low Voltage Data Technicians for commercial projects in Northwest Arkansas . The pay range is $25-$35 per hour based on experience. All Low Voltage Data Technicians are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven crafts men. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.
Ultimate Job Duties
+ Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing structured cabling systems in various environments.
+ Install, terminate, and test Cat6 and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode) cabling
+ Perform paging, wireless/AP cabling, CCTV, and access control cabling
+ Lead and support small crews of 2-4 technicians as a working lead when assigned
+ Build and dress MDFs, IDFs, racks, patch panels, and cable management
+ Install cable pathways including J-hooks, ladder rack, innerduct, and tray
+ Operate boom and scissor lifts (40+ ft work)
+ Troubleshoot cabling and system issues
+ Ensure cables are neatly dressed, labeled, and installed per standards
+ Provide daily progress updates to the Lead or Foreman
+ Follow all safety, quality, and site requirements
Ultimate Low Voltage Data Technician Requirements
+ 4+ years of low-voltage or data cabling experience
+ Strong Cat6 and fiber termination and testing skills
+ Experience with paging, wireless/AP cabling, CCTV, and access control cabling
+ Ability to read prints and work with minimal supervision
+ Comfortable working at height and in large warehouse environments
+ Ability to work independently or support small crews
+ Proficient with smartphones, email, and basic spreadsheets
+ Basic telecommunications tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
+ Drug Test Required
