Pay Rate: $25/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm
Why This Role Matters
As a Phlebotomist, you play an essential role in the patient experience by ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing. Your work supports timely diagnostic testing while helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout the collection process.
What You’ll Do
+ Perform venipuncture, capillary, forensic, and clinical specimen collections following established procedures
+ Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
+ Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy
+ Obtain required patient signatures and maintain proper documentation standards
+ Provide exceptional customer service while explaining procedures and creating a positive patient experience
+ Maintain specimen integrity and confidentiality while adhering to quality and safety standards
+ Travel between Patient Service Center and In-Office Phlebotomy locations as required
+ Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
What We’re Looking For
+ A current, up-to-date resume
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
+ Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
+ Strong phlebotomy skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Patient Service Center experience preferred
+ Customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service environment highly preferred
+ Keyboard and data entry proficiency
+ Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, if applicable
+ Ability to travel between locations and work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed
+ Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment
+ Ability to meet compliance requirements
