Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages the recruiting process to include: Assist with posting of positions, as needed; collect resumes/applications, screen and interview applicants; administer pre-employment assessments as well as background screening and assist managers with the interview process.
• Develops, maintains and evaluates job descriptions as needed.
• Maintains complete and accurate records, reports and files for the efficient and legal administration of personnel-related functions.
• Maintains all employee personnel files and confidential information.
• Performs the orientation process for new employees.
• Assists employees with enrollment into various benefit plans, life events, loan payoffs and contribution changes.
• Assists beneficiaries with entitlement to death benefits of deceased employees.
• Track DOT re-certifications monthly; contact and follow-up on necessary procedures and paperwork.
• Maintains all records and reports related to the Cooperative’s drug and alcohol testing program.
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures as needed in conjunction with the CEO and communicates additions or changes to employees. Reviews policies periodically to determine if revisions are needed.
