Central Garden & Pet is seeking a Sr. Replenishment Manager to join the Walmart Business Development Team based in Bentonville, AR, reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Operations. This individual will own key customer supply chain, replenishment, and demand planning responsibilities that positions the company to deliver best in class KPI and sales metrics. In addition, this role will drive key operational and strategies within our Walmart categories to align with the customer and internal business units in the following ways: develop seasonal mutual win/win goals and objectives; drive processes that achieve high forecast accuracies, high in-stocks, and specific inventory health metrics; and communicate and track OTIF/SQEP metrics and processes for continuous improvement and fine mitigation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the customer, as well as address on-time, in-full (supply constraints), and forecasting opportunities as they occur on a weekly basis in all channels (i.e., store, e-com)
Achieve in-stock goals and maximize inventory levels while meeting product turn expectations
Utilize data to provide ad hoc analytical support to drive key items, gap opportunities and overall replenishment support and recommendations to achieve mutual objectives
Create and deliver weekly reporting that highlights actions and collaborative in-season solutions (30/60/90)
Communicate and research PO on-time in-full (OTIF) and SQEP issues that results in optimized lane, lead time, and calls out potential item/ship point constraints
Function as a key BU and S&OP enabler by providing timely and accurate customer forecasts, process improvement and replenishment information back into our corporate integrative planning and continuous improvement processes
QUALIFICATIONS
Keen understanding of Walmart’s systems and processes; strong Retail Link skills and business acumen
Proficient in Power BI, Tableau is a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills required to achieve mutual buy-in and aligned strategies
Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of business processes and cycles; high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment that enables and develops relationships across all stakeholders
High level of energy and sense of urgency; self-starter; strong and effective multi-tasker
Initiative-taking individual with a problem-solving mentality and analytical mindset
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred; MBA is a plus
Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in merchandising/buying/planning, replenishment, supply chain, sales, sales forecasting and/or inventory management
