Job Description
Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Drafting Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be able to handle drafting and detailing jobs after design and other duties assigned from the drafting coordinator. Minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy are expected. This position will spend 95% of their time in an office setting and 5% of the time in other settings.
Breakdown of Duties
Prepare erection and shop drawings 20%
Work with engineers and detailers/checkers to produce accurate drawings 20%
Generate drawings and shippers in MBS 20%
Edit shipper in Excel 20%
Assist drafting coordinator and engineering manager as needed 20%
