Position: Warehouse Order Puller
Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary/Objective
This position pulls, palletizes, distributes and loads product within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions
Essential Functions

1. Efficiently pull customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
2. Carry or transport orders to appropriate shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
3. Select product for shipment and stack on pallet neatly.
4. Stage pallets to ensure safe delivery of products to customers and inspect that all pallets are labeled properly.
5. Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary.
6. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
7. Report quality variances.
8. Isolate damaged items to a predefined marked area and report it to a warehouse manager.
9. Load and unload shipments and place shipments on racking systems.
10. Break down and restack merchandise from pallets.
11. Complete necessary paperwork.
12. Cut pallets when necessary.
13. Report any unsecured or unsafe equipment to manager.
14. Conduct physical inventories as required.
15. Assist with ice duties, returns, restocking and coolers.
16. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
17. Maintain compliance with all safety and Hazmat regulations.
18. Participate in annual warehouse inventory audit.
19. Maintain current Hazmat training certification.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely handles standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, box cutters, shrink wrap dispenser, reciprocating saw.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift up to 100 lbs. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. Pushing and pulling pallets and lifting products is required approximately 55% during the shift.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some weekends or evenings included.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Wholesale/Distribution experience.
