PIT Operator Requirements
High school diploma or GED
6+ months of PIT operating experience
Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification and experience operating equipment such as Turret Trucks and Man-Up equipment.
Experience using RF scanners and warehouse computer systems.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a safety-focused environment while meeting productivity goals.
Job Duties
Operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
Verify materials, quantities, and product identification for order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
Prepare materials and products for processing, storage, and shipment.
Pack customer orders according to standard work instructions and quality standards.
Train associates on warehouse processes and PIT equipment operation.
Maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock management records.
Serve as a backup to the Warehouse Team Lead when needed.
