Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Transplant Data Coordinator for Transplant Services is responsible clinical data abstraction, design, capture, management, querying and reporting. The data coordinator will effectively communicate and coordinate the flow of information among medical, ancillary, nursing, financial and other staff.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's in Nursing plus three (3) years of nursing experience
Valid Arkansas RN license
EPIC and Electronic health information systems

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in Nursing plus one (1) year of experience
Transplant experience
Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality or performance improvement, with the ability to track, trend, and analyze large, complex data sets.
Proficient in data management, interpretation, and translating findings into actionable items to support quality and regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Participates in planning and implementing systematic processes to improve the quality and safety of patient care, and operational effectiveness of the program
Oversee the maintenance of the OPTN data entry system for transplant centers
Reviews medical records, including reviews of documentation required for UNOS and CMS
