Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Descriptive Data Analyst - Space Planning supports the Campus Space Management Program by collecting, integrating, and analyzing data to inform space planning, allocation, and utilization across the university. This role contributes to a campuswide effort to maximize existing space, support future growth, and enable transparent, data-informed decision-making.

Key duties include:
*Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data related to property management and campus space/building management across multiple systems
*Designing, developing, and maintaining interoperable, linked databases within a Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Fabric)
*Supporting and maintaining centralized systems including room-level data collection, validation, and reporting
*Developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support space planning, capital planning, and operational decision-making
*Supporting forecasting, utilization analysis, and scenario planning for campus space allocation and management
*Partnering with campus planning, facilities management, research and innovation, and governance committees to standardize, align, and integrate datasets
