Job Description
OzarksGo, based in Fayetteville, Arkansas a telecommunications subsidiary of Ozarks Electric Cooperative, offering all-fiber gigabit internet and premium television and telephone services to Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year of experience with fiber optic materials, networking equipment or warehouse management is preferred, along with strong skills in inventory management, forecasting and record-keeping.
MAJOR JOB TASKS:
- Oversee all fiber, electronics, and related material inventory across Engineering, Network Operations and Installation and Repair departments.
- Maintain accurate counts, records and documentation on all inventory.
- Perform regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Coordinate purchasing needs with vendors and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Manage receiving, stocking, distribution, and returns of all equipment and materials.
- Analyze usage trends and upcoming projects to forecast material demand.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to align inventory with project timelines.
- Provide inventory reporting to leadership on stock levels, usage, and potential risks.
- Report project status and challenges to leadership, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
- Enforce safety protocols and industry regulations, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- External- Communicates with vendors, suppliers, and contractors through telephone, electronic, and written communication to coordinate material orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely support for projects and field operations.
- Internal- Collaborates with department personnel, supervisors, and other teams through in-person, telephone, electronic, and written communication to support operational efficiency and project coordination.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to operate all equipment normally found in an office environment and will be required to attend forklift training. Must have a valid driver's license without violation, which would prohibit insurability.
- The Fiber Inventory Specialist must be detail-oriented and organized, with strong skills in forecasting, problem-solving, and collaboration. Clear communication with internal teams and vendors is essential, along with proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office programs.
- Work is primarily in an office and warehouse environment with occasional irregular hours. Regular travel within the service territory is required to support inventory needs, with limited overnight travel possible. Employment is contingent upon a post-offer physical examination and drug screening.
