Job Description
The main purpose of this Intern position is to provide a general knowledge of lending and retail duties and responsibilities. This role provides support to both lending and retail areas. The Intern - NEA may assist in other areas, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Learn and support both retail and lending functions of the bank. This duty is performed daily.
2. Train and work as a teller, completing all teller duties. This duty is performed as needed.
3. Complete lending and retail related tasks. This duty is performed daily.
4. Shadow various personnel within the assigned departments. This duty is performed as needed.
5. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
6. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
