Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTIONASU-Beebe is seeking a carpenter with skills in the following areas: Framing (wood and metal studs), drywall installation, suspended ceilings installation, solid and hollow core door installation, and the ability to finish concrete. Experience with all tools related to the carpentry profession is also required. This employee will also at times assist the other skilled trades within the department.
JOB DUTIES:
- Door repair
- Suspended ceiling repair
- Concrete Finishing
- Framing
- Assist other tradesman to complete projects that require multiple departments to work together
- Process daily work orders as assigned
- General carpentry duties using hand and power tools
- Repair and build structures using necessary materials, such as wood, sheet rock, and roofing
- Maintains inventory on tools and parts specific to assigned trade
