The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) works under physician direction and under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Clinical Team Manager. The RRT is a professional who works within the limits of their license and credentials, adhering to institutional and departmental policies, procedures, and standards. The RRT is required to provide quality patient care, promote a healthy work environment, and project a positive image for the UAMS Medical Center.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care by date of hire.
Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Therapy Practitioner (LRCP) by date of hire.
Must pass National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) RRT Credentialing Examination by date of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a UAMS Respiratory Care Intern
ACLS, NRP, Basic Life Support (BLS)
Additional Information:
10K Sign-on Bonus is available (for those who qualify)
Responsibilities:
Performs routine respiratory care procedures including, but not limited to: updrafts, metered dose inhalers (MDI), chest physiotherapy (CPT), arterial blood gases (ABG), incentive spirometry, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV),... For full info follow application link.
