Job Description

Seasonal/Temporary work from 5/17/2026 - 10/10/2026

We are a 10000 acre row crop farming operation. We primarily grow rice , beans, and some corn utilizing flood irrigation and row water irrigation. Our equipment primarily consists of late model equipment comprising of John Deere. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Mix specified materials or chemicals,
and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on field bound machinery; Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production
such as tractor, combine, sprayer, grain cart, planter, mower to cultivate, plant, fertilize, water, harvest, store crops such as rice, soybeans, corn; Adjust and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, planters, harvesters to tractors; Operate towed machines such as seed drills, carts, or spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, store, spray crops; Irrigate soil using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps; Must be able to speak and understand English.
