Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Combination Technical Inspector reviews all plans submitted for code compliance, conducts building, plumbing, electrical, and HVACR inspections, and keeps a log of inspections. The Combination Technical Inspector interprets technical designs and blueprints, corrects defects in building construction, ensures compliance with specifications, building, plumbing, electrical, and HVACR codes, and other regulations. The Combination Technical also provides information and assistance to contractors and the public, monitors the City to make sure work being performed is permitted and inspected, and performs all other duties assigned.
