Job Description
Summary
Skilled professional that has extensive experience and competence in the Electrical discipline.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Professional in responsible charge of designing projects.
- Oversee and/or produce project documents based on criteria set by Client.
- Apply applicable codes for design.
- Perform quality control of documents prepared by project team.
- Oversee and provide markups, comments and project reviews.
- Oversee coordination and responses to RFIs, bid questions, and submittal reviews.
- Oversee project coordination amongst multiple disciplines.
- Oversee preparation and verification of design calculations.
- Provide training and mentorship to design staff and support internal training initiatives.
- Assist with on-going Client Relationship Management.
- Assist Project and Program Managers as needed.
- Perform probable cost analysis for design options.
- Create and/or assist with proposals for projects.
- Make decisions on procedures used during design process and communicate these decisions with other members of the project team.
- Initiate and support process improvement.
- Perform site-observations, scope trips, and construction observations as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum
- Licensed Professional in good standing.
- Bachelors Degree in an Electrical Engineering related field and 4 years experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.
Preferred
- Experienced in Costworks.
- Proficient in REVIT or AutoCAD platforms.
- Specialized experience in the field of Engineering Systems.
- Specialized certification in Engineering related systems. [ADA, LEED, etc.]
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Work environment for this position is in an office.
- Work days of 9 to 12 hours in length, or more, will occur.
- This position may require regular travel to project sites.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
