Job Description
Incumbent should reside within the Arvest 4 State Operational Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK). Residents within Texas may be considered upon further review during the interview process.
Hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with ability to work extra hours as needed.
Position will require the ability to travel 50% of the time. Territory will be contiguous states to the bank's 4 state footprint.
Preferred Qualifications are 5 years of Equipment Finance experience. Knowledge with Industry experience in Construction and Ag. Manufacturing with existing customer and dealership relationships.
SUMMARY: With clearly directed guidance, the incumbent is accountable for the development of new vendor/dealer relationships in a professional manner within policy and under managerial direction. The Regional Account Manager will coordinate activities with the President and Regional Sales Manager to establish relationships, generate commercial loans and leases, and manage portfolio that supports the sales objectives and increases the profitability of Arvest Equipment Finance Division. The Regional Account Manager is expected to prospect through direct calling efforts to assigned industries and or territories as well as travel extensively. The incumbent is expected to portray a positive image throughout the assigned territories and market segments at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Market equipment finance products in assigned territories and market segments.
- Develop new business relationships through direct calling efforts and through frequent travel to prospective clients and to various trade shows. Prospect new business in accordance with Arvest policies and procedures to achieve growth goals.
- Generate commercial loans and leases with an emphasis on building and maintaining a high quality and profitable loan portfolio that has sustainability for the long term.
- Underwrite credit requests in a prompt manner. Exercise appropriate discretion daily to analyze data gathered and approve, deny, or recommend alternative products or services.
- Manage and maintain a profitable commercial loan and leasing portfolio. Perform ongoing review of portfolio for appropriate customer alignment and focus based on opportunities and market data.
- Conceive, develop, and establish personal objectives and overall plans for implementation in line with bank objectives that are acceptable to management.
- Make credit presentations to loan committee/senior management with recommendation for approval or denial of loan requests.
- Work cooperatively with internal staff to prescreen, propose, approve, negotiate, document and fund equipment financing transactions.
- Assist the President and Regional Sales Manager as a facilitator or moderator in product/service seminars in bank locations.
- Analyze current financial information on existing loans for the purpose of conducting periodic reviews to determine the ongoing credit worthiness of clients. Manage past due accounts and keep management abreast of any significant issues.
- Set up prospective client seminars and luncheons.
- Stay current on industry issues and regulations.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, time management, and the ability to prioritize client’s needs and customer service. Make sound financial recommendations for qualifying services.
- Participate in CFB4 sales meetings and appointments as assigned.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS;

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field, or equivalent military or work experience required. Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
- 5 years commercial loan or commercial lease transactions experience or 5 years sales, business development, relationship building, or comparable role experience required.
- Exhibit a background and experience in selling, originating, qualifying, and closing a variety of loan and/or lease financing products required.
- Completion of CFB4 training within first year required.
- Completion of Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation within 24 months of employment required.
- Knowledge of terminology associated with commercial lending and/or leasing preferred.
- Master’s Degree, Lending School, or graduate banking school preferred.
