Job Description
We are a 1000-3000 acre row crop farming operation. We primarily grown soybeans, rice, and corn.
We use flood irrigation and pivots. Our equipment consists of late model equipment and newer
modern equipment, both Case and John Deere machines. We also use grain bins. Job duties may
include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides,
growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean
work areas; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery;
record information about crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical
equipment; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; use hand tools such as
wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be
used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos,
loading and unloading facilities, combines or other
harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and
other landscaping equipment, planters, sprayers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties
to help produce: corn, rice, soybeans, wheat.
