Seasonal/Temporary Work 03-15-26 - 11-15-26
We are a 2800 acre rice and soybean farm that utilizes flood irrigation. Equipment is late model John Deere.
We also have on farm grain storage. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply
products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle
working in high humidity; clean work areas; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to
condition the soil; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or
facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields;
maintain grounds and landscaping; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer
type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and
mechanical equipment; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as
shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as
wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not
limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed:
air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt
moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping
equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled
machinery, semi trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be
performing the duties to help produce: corn, rice, soybeans. Must speak and understand English.
