Job Description
Seasonal and Temporary Work 03/10/26-11/18/26
We grow rice and soybeans. We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production. Field
prep starts in March and planting starts in April. Throughout the summer we will irrigating and
preparing for harvest and we harvest in November. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting,
attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and
hand tools, operate tractors, planters, seed drills, irrigation equipment, operate other farm equipment,
engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, irrigate soil, using portable pipes or
ditch systems, and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps, load and unload crops or materials,
manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers, load hoppers, containers, or
conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or
pitchforks, observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions, attach
equipment extensions or accessories, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest
crops, complete maintenance and repairs on irrigation equipment, drive pickup trucks to haul crops,
supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not
guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace
policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires exposure to extreme outdoor
temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending
over. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 3 months farm
experience
