Seasonal and Temporary Work 03/06/26-11/06/26

Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and postharvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment such as manually
laying out poly pipe; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn
machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine,
cotton picker, sprayer, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and
harvest crops such as corn, soybeans, cotton, rice; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to
employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities
such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and
maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain inventory; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other
materials to condition soil; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery;
Attach implements using hand tools; Position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products,
remove and close full containers; Assist in mixing and loading materials for aerial application and
unloading of fertilizer and loading it with a truck in aircraft for aerial application; Speak and
understand English.

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
