Seasonal/Temporary work from 2/1/2026 - 11/3/2026

This job requires pruning, training, and harvesting grapes, irrigation, and tractor driving (as needed).

GRAPE Harvest: Workers will hand and/or machine harvest wine grapes. Worker will harvest numerous varieties of grapes according to established company procedures accounting for difference in the treatment of different varieties. When asked by the supervisor, worker will operate the grape harvesting machine. The fruit will be placed on either a plastic tub or stainless-steel bin. Care must be exercised at all time to prevent breaking of vineyards and to maximize the quality of the fruit. Some workers may be required to examine harvested fruit in bins and sort out any fruit not meeting the grade, color and size specifications.

Pruning: Pruning numerous varieties of grape vineyards and grape plants, according to established company procedures based on the difference in the treatment of different
varieties. Work will be performed on vines for long periods of time using a variety of pruning equipment including but not limited to
hand shears, hand loppers, hand saws. Pruning
will be done from the ground. Workers may be required to selectively prune only vines of a certain size and color as instructed by the crew supervisor.

Irrigation Repair - Job consists of laying out lay flat and cutting spaghettis to lay flat. Flush out valves and repair drip tape leaks by installing coupler onto drip tape to fix leak.

TRAINING: Training is a process in which the grape vines are manipulated to increase yield and/or quality. Some example training tasks are but not limited to:
•Tying, taping or clipping grape vines limbs to wires.
•Tying up or down grape vines.
•Training and limb positioning of vineyards.
•Shoot thinning, sucker removal, cluster thinning, shoot positioning, hedging, or leaf removal of grape vines.
•Propping and supporting grape vines.
•Moving wires in grapes for light exposure.

TRACTOR DRIVER: A tractor operator job description can include but is not limited to operate a manual transmission style clutch and gear operation. The operator must perform daily inspections during start up and shutdown of the machine such as checking oil levels, cleaning air filters, and checking tire pressures. The operations he may be asked to do may be running implements including, but not limited to a mower, bin trailer, or bin forks and spray equipment. The operator will be trained on all
tasks and safety regulations set by manufacturer’s guidelines and sign off that he has been properly trained.
