Job Description
Seasonal/temporary work from 2/1/2026 - 11/30/2026
We are a 2,350 acre row crop farm. We grow rice, soybeans and corn utilizing flood irrigation. Our equipment consists of older and later model equipment comprising mainly of John Deere machines. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, clean work areas, guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, maintain inventory, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, semi trucks, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, rice, soybeans
