Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate surveying instruments, including drones, to collect accurate field data.
- Interpret engineering plans to establish lines, grades, and boundaries for construction and aggregate operations.
- Maintain thorough notes and records of all survey data and engineering measurements.
- Calculate cross sections and quantities for cost analysis, planning, and payment purposes.
- Coordinate daily tasks with multiple crews to ensure all surveying needs are met for each project or site.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-flight drone inspections and document findings in accordance with company policies.
- Safely lift, carry, and handle materials, tools, and equipment as required.
- Assist construction, paving, or plant crews with tasks such as shoveling, raking, and transporting materials when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, OSHA, and MSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned and demonstrate flexibility to support team operations.
- Consistently wear required personal protective equipment in designated areas.
