Job Description
Position Summary:
The Office of Admissions at Arkansas State University is seeking a dynamic and organized Marketing Coordinator to assist with undergraduate recruitment as a key member of the University's Recruitment Team. This position will provide broad, assistant-level support for the overall marketing strategy. The coordinator will help write, build, and deploy multi-channel campaigns that help the university achieve its enrollment marketing goals. This position will report to the Senior Associate Director of Enrollment Marketing & Communications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Support (60%)
- Assist in the development, planning and implementation of short- and long-term marketing campaigns across but not limited to email, print, texting, and social media.
- Write, build, and schedule email and text message campaigns to engage intended audiences, utilizing Slate CRM software.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure accurate production and delivery of digital and physical marketing materials.
- Analyze campaign results to help optimize marketing efforts regarding placement, budget, and audience segmentation.
- Execute paid social media advertising to assist with recruitment goals and initiatives as part of the broader marketing mix.
Content & Communications (20%)
- Supervise student content creators on projects such as departmental content and events.
- Create and edit content for various marketing channels, including email, social media, and print materials.
- Assist in coordinating and setting up interview sessions, video/photo shoots, and meetings to create content.
- Capture photos and video during events for later use, which may require work after hours or on weekends.
Operational Support (20%)
- Oversee mailroom operations and supervise mailroom student workers.
- Manage promotional material inventory by fulfilling requests and conducting weekly audits of inventory levels.
- Scheduling meetings with media vendors for project management.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write and edit effective marketing copy.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
· Excellent organizational and planning skills.
· Ability to communicate with a diverse population of stakeholders.
· Knowledge and experience with social media platforms for professional use.
· Familiarity with email marketing and CRM systems is preferred
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor’s Degree.
