Position Summary:

The Department of Accounting in the Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University (A-State) invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track instructor position in accounting beginning Spring 2026.

The AACSB-accredited Neil Griffin College of Business is one of the up-and-coming business colleges in the region. The Department of Accounting has a strong reputation regionally for the quality of its accounting program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include teaching accounting courses in the undergraduate program and service to the department, college, university and accounting profession.

Preferred Qualifications

· Demonstrated ability or potential for strong teaching performance
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and recruit students
· Familiarity with current U.S. accounting practices
· Active CPA license or active pursuit of CPA licensure
· Interest in and knowledge of data analytics, including tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python programming, and Alteryx
