Job Description
- Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the ECD Assistant Teacher is to assist the lead teacher in all aspects of the children's daily care and education routines. This includes providing assistance with supervision, management, and guidance of a classroom of children, as well as preparation for daily activities. The Lead Teachers and Administrators also provide direction, support and supervision.
- Position is providing comprehensive care for infants (0-18 mos.). This position, as directed, will work directly with young babies; as required: pick them up, change diapers, feed bottles, and play activities. meeting basic needs like feeding, changing diapers, and ensuring hygiene, while also fostering their development through age-appropriate play, activities, and a nurturing environment. Requires the ability to lift 15 pounds and get-up/sit down on the padded floors to play. You work under the direction of the Infant Class Teacher.
