Compensation
• Pay Rate: $23-$26 per hour, based on your experience and skill set
Your Role
As a core member of our maintenance team, you'll work closely with the foreperson to ensure our ready-mix plants remain a safe, efficient, and compliant place to work. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to show your expertise.
• Maintain and service our plants equipment, climbing platforms and landings as needed
• Demonstrate proficiency with hand and power tools; welding skills are a big plus
• Perform essential groundwork: cleaning, repairing conveyor belts and screens, and more
• Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and man lifts
• Complete clean-up assignments using hand tools and work safely around moving equipment
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine servicing on mobile equipment
• Safely clean with water, avoiding unsafe conditions near electrical equipment
• Keep leadership informed of maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Be proactive about environmental safety and compliance in your work area
• Communicate clearly with co-workers, using standardized hand signals and maintaining eye contact
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
• Assist in training and mentoring less-experienced team members
