Job Summary: Responsible for general machining, fabrication, and production mold repair.

Job Performance

• Evaluates and troubleshoots nonconformity of production molds to correct flow issues.
• Set up and operate machine shop equipment.
• Use machinist tools and equipment proficiently.
• Schedules and completes projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to apply written and verbal design concepts or instructions to complete projects.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment and comply with procedures, policies, and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane to lift/move projects.
• Must be able to drive a forklift and obtain FM Forklift Certification.
• Meets or exceeds established manufacturing goals.
• Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.
• Must be willing to accept and receive supervision, instructions, and perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work with appropriate tools and equipment
• Must have adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirements necessary to frequently manipulate and/or lift products weighing up to 40 lbs. Constantly required to stand/walk, frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must wear Safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection in designated areas.
• Work area heat and cold temperatures vary according to season.
