Summary:
The Sales Planning Sr Analyst is responsible for assisting with sales activation activities, execution of the business unit's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the team's attainment of the Foodservice Poultry business goals. This role will support total Poultry Foodservice SS&P to drive the Foodservice Poultry Business Unit strategy. They will develop and maintain reporting to analyze business results through various data inputs. The ideal candidate will be able to use data to assist in the development of category, channel and business driving programs and innovation strategies. This position will report to the Director, Poultry Foodservice SS&P.
This position offers the potential for exposure to: Business Units, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, FSQA, and Revenue Management. This position will report to the Director, Poultry Foodservice SS&P.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and provide reporting to monitor Foodservice Poultry volume performance
- Analyze and represent business results to Leadership through various sales, industry and category insight reports
- Assist in sales planning process for poultry Sales/BU and assist with product allocation data when necessary
- Provide analysis to the Director and make recommendations on key inputs included in the S&OP process
- Create and refine reporting to measure KPI goals by product level and track sales performance
- Provide inputs for consideration in the demand and financial forecast processes
- Create and provide post-initiative recaps to SS&P leadership
- Manages ad-hoc SS&P Director requests
- Key interactions include SS&P VP and Director, Sr. Managers, & Managers from BU's, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Revenue Management, and Customer Development
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience: 3 plus years' relevant work experience in customer trade marketing, sales marketing, and sales analytics or category management. CPG industry preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Computer Skills: Advanced level for MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Teams; prior experience with Tyson CRM and Power BI preferred
- Special Skills: Strong data manipulation skills; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Business acumen and ownership
- Direct Reports: 0
- Travel: Some travel is required, up to 5% of the time
