Adminstrative Assistant-General Office Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized office assistant to join our happy busy
small insurance agency. This candidate will assist the President and Office Manager
directly as administrative support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring
accurate record-keeping and facilitating efficient agency operations. This role requires
strong communication skills, computer knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to
work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements:
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in data entry.
Experience with phone systems, computer systems, Microsoft applications such as
PowerPoint, Excel, and WORD and normal clerical duties.
Required Typing: speed 40+ wpm

Successful candidates must have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and be
able to pass a drug test and a criminal history background check. MUST HAVE VALID
AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.

Administrative skills training is required: 

Experience in general office skills, nice phone voice, friendly smile

Training with Experience using Microsoft Office applications: Excel, WORD, Powerpoint, and Outlook

Details Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Starting Pay: From $14 to $16.00 per hour with 2 opportunities for Wage
reviews during first year. ($200 training bonus available)
Expected hours: 18-22 Hrs per week - 10am-5:30
Schedule: Day shift, Mon-Tues-Wed & some Fri, (off Thursdays)
Work Location: In person (no virtual work) permanent part-time
