Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Description

The staff MT/MLT will perform regular routine tests and procedures as assigned in the laboratory. The staff MT/MLT will perform and/or assist with routine maintenance. QC, trouble-shooting, instruction of new technicians and laboratory assistants. Performs venipunctures and capillary punctures and other related work when fully qualified as evidenced by the personnel training checklist, assisting in requisitioning and distributing supplies, collection, and terminal cleaning at the end of the shift.
