Job Description

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for leading and directing the Tyson private fleet transportation team to achieve business and financial objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Driver management.
- On time service management.
- Driver safety management.
- Driver and load problem resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS :
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in transportation
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Tyson Business Computer Systems, Sale Inventory SAP Transportation, and Warehousing Systems is a plus
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Supervisory: Acts as a team leader, providing functional supervision and training for other team members
Travel: Occasional domestic trips (1-5 per year)

** This position will currently work out of the Springdale, AR Terminal and may be required to relocate as Fleet Terminals are established in external locations in the future. **
