Job Description
The Refractory Technician is a customer facing, labor-intensive position skilled in lining, relining and repairing furnaces, ladles, and tundishes. This position requires extensive travel to customer sites and has an individual responsibility to maintain a clean and safe work environment and for the quality of their refractory installation and following their Lead’s work instructions.

The job duties vary daily, but all are focused on:
- a construction based environment that will include masonry type duties
- utilizing industrial equipment to install our products on a daily basis
- inspecting and making major and minor repairs of refractory products to satisfy our customer
- maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- maintaining professional working relationships with co-workers
