Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience in Information Technology field with 9 years of recent relevant experience with full life-cycle technology application development for highly complex, organizationally impacting initiatives.
- 10 years of experience with large global organization working with development teams across different countries to build complex business solutions.
- 10 years of product development level experience with the design, development, and support from the ground up of highly complex, organizationally impacting solutions that involve internal and external facing customers in diverse business domains, including, Legal, Finance, non-profit, and others.
- Experience with leading software development in Agile teams, including creating high-quality Stories, Epics, planning timelines, and leading Agile ceremonies.
- Experience in at least 2 software languages, including at least one object-oriented language. Examples: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs for data integrations from ground up. With proven experience with high-load APIs that interface public and internal Web applications.
- Experience with application security, including API security models, network security, database, and credentials storage encryption. Being able to design policies that follow the cloud security best practices.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining AWS Serverless applications from the ground up.
- Experience with at Relational and NoSQL databases on AWS, with hands-on experience building ETL processes for large scale datasets.
- Experience with the systems life cycle, project management principles and programming best practices and concepts.
- Experience analyzing highly complex system-wide technical specifications and interfaces, debugging applications programs, and producing user and technical documentation.
- Experience as a DevOps team member with a focus on cloud-based solutions, specifically on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with "Infrastructure as Code" with complex projects that involve Network, Compute, Database layers.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or 15 years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills including the ability to bring together various teams and resources to deliver results and possesses an understanding of how to utilize emotional intelligence to navigate complex organizational and interpersonal dynamics.
- Have achieved at least one AWS Professional and two AWS Associate certification.
- Experience in designing resilient and optimized cloud application architectures on AWS.
- Extensive experience documenting and exploring options for ambiguous problems and leading discussions to achieve consensus across teams.
- Extensive experience with Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation to provision large scale applications on AWS.
- Experience with designing and development of Web Applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks such as React Framework.
- Experience creating Lambda functions to perform infrastructure automation tasks.
- Experience in building and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines to provision application and infrastructure components.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and best practices and supporting technologies such as the Atlassian suite of products.
- Experience with Git, Git Workflow and Bitbucket for version control.
- Experience with modeling the best practice of the software development life cycle for a global organization.
- Experience with developing or implementing data management and self-service reporting tools for global organizations with tools such as QuickSight and AWS Glue.
- Experience with operational best practices in the cloud, including Alarms, Metrics, Dashboards, and defining and documenting processes for support teams.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing demands.
- Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.

SALARY INFORMATION
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $113,900 - $170,900 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
