Job Description
Seasonal/Temporary work from 10/1/2026 - 4/14/2027
Duties may include: Raise, transport, and sort seedlings to then select optimum planting location to meet shade/soil requirements. Select tree seedlings, prepare the ground, and plant the trees in reforestation areas, using manual planting tools such as shovel, hoe-dad, and dibble bar. Caution must be taken with seedlings to prevent J or U rooting. Incidental driving & other related Tree Planter activities as per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
