Job Description

FM Corporation is a plastic manufacturing company. We mold, Finish, and assemble plastic parts. Our main product is parts used to build Medical Testing equipment that are used in hospitals, Doctor offices, and Eye clinics across the world. We currently have several Finisher positions available.

Available Shifts:

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:45 pm - 2:15 am

Job Summary:

Responsible for preparation of parts for painting and other Finishing department processes.

Job Performance:

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Performs functions per product specifications and/or requirements, according to work order traveler.
• May perform, but not limited to; sanding, packing, Inspecting, assembly, mask/unmask, loading and unloading the line, according to the work order traveler as required.
• Works with appropriate tools and equipment
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Monitors processes and inspects product to specification or requirements, according to work order traveler.
• Maintains safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, policies, and safety regulations
• Meets or exceeds established manufacturing goals.
• Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.
• Must be willing to accept and receive supervision, instructions, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Must adhere to company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to adequately work with appropriate tools and equipment, frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Must have adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirements necessary to frequently manipulate and/or lift products weighing up to 40 lbs. regularly required to manipulate and/or lift over head with products weighing up to 40 lbs. continuously required to stand; frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must wear safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection must be worn in designated areas at all times.
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, heat and cold temperatures vary according to season.
• This position is considered a safety sensitive position due to the manufacturing environment, moving machinery, and forklift traffic.
