Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:The College of Nursing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Professor to join our team. The successful candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the nursing program, providing high-quality education to students while also contributing to the scholarship and service missions of the College. This role requires a commitment to excellence in teaching, active participation in scholarly activities, and engagement in service to the college, university, community, and the nursing profession.Qualifications:
Doctorally prepared (Ph.D., DNP, DNAP, EdD) in nursing.
Current certification or recertification by the NBCRNA
Unencumbered RN and APRN license with eligibility for RN and APRN licensure in Arkansas
Three (3) years of clinical experience as a practicing CRNA
Teaching experience at the graduate level with ability to teach in all aspects of anesthesia management, preferred.
Demonstration of scholarship related activities (published manuscripts, abstracts at conferences, grant funding), preferred.
Eligibility to practice within the College's faculty practice plan
Regional & ultrasound experience, preferred.
