Department's Website: of Job Duties:The Department of Marketing in the Sam M. Walton College of Business is hiring for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing. Candidates are expected to publish research in top-tier academic journals that contribute to the body of research in marketing. In addition to publishing in elite academic marketing journals, the candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, mentor Ph.D. students, and fulfill University, College, and Departmental service requirements consistent with the rank. There is also an opportunity to teach graduate courses and be involved with Executive Education programs.

The department is the second largest department Walton College and offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Marketing focused on brand management, and a Ph.D. in Marketing. Marketing students ultimately benefit because department faculty collaborate with Walmart, J. B. Hunt Transport Inc., Sam's Club, Tyson and other leading companies with headquarters or offices in Northwest Arkansas.

The department focuses on two strategic initiatives - sales and retail.
