This role’s duties will require planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. The Controller will be a permanent employment opportunity and will be located in the Little Rock, Arkansas region.

How you will make an impact

- Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll

- Inspect deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations

- Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports

- Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation

- Comfortable in taking on tasks beyond formal job responsibilities

- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly

- Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

- Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

- Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals

- Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required

- Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques Requirements – Detailed and have the ability work independently

- The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

- Experience with HealthCare Industry

- Expertise in Accounting Principles

- Controllership experience

- Budget forecasting experience

- Deep understanding of Accounting management

- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

- Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

- Excellent technology, analytics and management experience required

- CPA/MBA preferred
