Please ensure the email provided on your application is checked regularly.** Overview: Directly reports to the Imaging Services Nuclear Medicine manager and Medical Director(s) of the Department of Nuclear Medicine. Responsible for assessing patients condition, evaluating exam appropriateness and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Additional responsibilities include analyzing computer acquired data, archiving images to PACS, performing quality control for all equipment, and adhering to radiation safety standards. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications: Experience: At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Med Tech in a hospital-based setting. Required Education: Bachelor's degree. Graduation from a formal Nuclear Medicine training program is required. Certifications: Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear (RT-N). Must have a current BLS certification provider card or complete a course within a probationary period. Licensed in Nuclear Medicine by the State of Arkansas. Other: Excellent communicator in written and verbal format; ability to handle complex situations; strong team player.
