Our Southaven branch is looking for a new Customer Service Representative to join our Contract Logistics team.
Your Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in the warehouse intercepting, processing, and keying orders into our system. As the primary contact for our internal departments and external customers, you must have an outgoing, professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for quickly solving problems with satisfactory solutions. Your typical schedule will be Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. #LI-Onsite
Your Responsibilities
+ You will perform administrative tasks for your assigned area
+ Maintain filing systems and documents per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
+ Work with customers and employees, answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by the carrier, and damage claims
+ Coordinate the processing of export orders in the Automated Export System (AES)
+ Use the WMS (Warehouse Management System) to update area or shift metrics
+ Promptly respond to emails and customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and follow up quickly
Your Skills and Experiences
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ At least 2 years of recent full-time customer service experience in a warehousing or distribution environment
+ 1+ years of experience with Manhattan or other WMS
+ Knowledge of warehouse operational procedures, including receiving, order processing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and cycle counting
+ 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
