Currently, we are looking for a Student Worker, Purchasing Department to join the ArcBest team. The Student Worker, Purchasing Department assists the Purchasing and Supply Department with daily responsibilities including shipping and receiving supplies, ordering office and dock supplies, maintain records warehouse, maintaining a purchase order log, and assisting with various special projects
Your contribution may include:
- Ship and receive supply inventories.
- Accurately fulfill and package supply requests and ship to requesting party.
- Assist in the purchasing of all office supplies, dock supplies, and dock equipment to all ABF field locations.
- Assist with data input and records management for the record storage facility.
- Assist in daily department responsibilities.
- Ensure and maintain compliance with proper record storage retention requirements.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
As a Student Worker, Purchasing Department, you will be a member of the ArcBest Purchasing team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.
